  • Completed online e-Visa application with passport scan and a passport-style digital photo uploaded
  • Proof of onward/return travel
  • Proof of accommodation or an invitation letter from a local host/company
  • Proof of yellow fever vaccination is mandatory and checked on arrival
  • Travel health insurance is recommended
  • Biometrics captured on arrival (fingerprints/photo)

Visa types

  • Tourist e-Visa - single entry, valid for a stay of up to 30 days
  • Business e-Visa - single or multiple entry, requires an invitation letter from a sponsoring company in Equatorial Guinea, validity and stay length vary by invitation terms
  • Diplomatic/official visa - separate category for government business, arranged through formal channels

How to apply online

  • Apply via the official Equatorial Guinea e-Visa portal, registering an account and completing the application with passport and trip details
  • Upload the required photo and documents and pay the fee online by card
  • Approval is typically emailed as a PDF within around 5-10 working days to print and present with the passport on arrival
  • Applying directly through the Equatorial Guinea Embassy is an alternative but can take longer
