Guide last updated October 20, 2026. Always verify with official sources before travel.

What you need

  • Passport valid for at least 6 months beyond your stay, with at least 2 blank pages
  • Completed Form 14A (Visit Pass application)
  • One recent passport-sized photo (35mm x 45mm, white background, no glasses)
  • Confirmed return/onward air ticket
  • Hotel booking, or a local sponsor's letter with their NRIC/passport copy
  • Bank statements for the last 6 months showing adequate funds (SGD 100-150/day is a safe benchmark)
  • Employment letter or NOC from your employer, or business registration if self-employed
  • Biometrics are not required for Singapore visit visas
  • Travel health insurance is recommended but not mandatory for tourist visits

Visa types

  • Visit Visa (single entry): must be used within 1 month of issue, allows a stay of up to 30 days
  • Multiple Journey Visa (MJV): for frequent business or family travelers, validity up to 2 years, each visit capped at 30 days, usually requires a track record of prior visits or a strong local sponsor
  • Transit Visa: for passengers transiting Changi Airport who need to leave the transit area

How to apply online

  • Pakistani passport holders cannot self-lodge through ICA's e-Service and must apply through an ICA-appointed visa agent in Pakistan or an authorized Singapore travel agent
  • The agent submits your application and documents electronically through ICA's system
  • Approval is issued as an electronic Approval Letter / In-Principle Approval (IPA) by email — there is no visa sticker or stamp
  • Print the Approval Letter and present it with your passport at Singapore immigration on arrival
  • Standard processing is 3 working days from submission; agents may charge an additional service fee on top of the government fee

Fees & processing time

  • Visa fee: SGD 30 (about USD 22) for a single-entry Visit Visa
  • Multiple Journey Visa fee: SGD 50-100 depending on validity (about USD 37-74)
  • Agent service fee in Pakistan: typically PKR 5,000-8,000 on top of the government fee
  • Standard processing: 3 working days; some agents offer express processing (1-2 working days) for an extra charge
  • No separate biometrics or interview fee

Tips for Pakistan travelers

  • Apply only through agents listed on ICA's official website to avoid fraud
  • Submit your application at least 1-2 weeks before travel to allow for agent processing time
  • Common rejection reasons: weak bank statements, no proof of return ticket, unclear purpose of visit, or sponsor documents not matching
  • A clean prior Schengen, UK, US, Australian or Singapore visa history strengthens the application
  • Extensions of stay are possible through ICA's e-Service before the visa expires, but are not guaranteed
