What you need

  • Passport valid for at least 6 months beyond the intended departure from Saint Lucia
  • Completed Saint Lucia visa application form, signed
  • Two passport-size photos, 2x2 inches, white background
  • Confirmed round-trip flight itinerary
  • Proof of accommodation (hotel booking or host invitation letter)
  • Bank statement for the last 3-6 months showing sufficient funds
  • Travel/medical insurance covering the trip recommended
  • No biometrics required for the paper-based visa application

Visa types

  • Tourist visa: single entry, up to 42 days (6 weeks), non-work purposes
  • Business visa: single entry, up to 30 days, requires an invitation from a Saint Lucia-based company
  • Transit visa: single entry, up to 24 hours, for layovers

How to apply

  • Download the application form from the Saint Lucia government immigration website
  • Compile all supporting documents and the passport and send by secure courier (DHL/FedEx) to the Immigration Department in Castries, or to the nearest authorized diplomatic mission processing Saint Lucia visas on its behalf
  • There is no interview for standard tourist applications; decisions are communicated by email or through the courier service
  • Once approved, the visa is affixed in the passport and returned by courier

  • Single-entry visa fee: approximately USD 50-80 depending on category
  • Courier charges in both directions: approximately USD 60-100, borne by the applicant
  • Standard processing time: 10-15 working days from receipt of a complete application, excluding courier transit time
  • No expedited service is generally available; apply at least 4-6 weeks ahead to account for postal transit

Tips for Pakistan travelers

  • Build in extra time for courier transit in both directions since there is no local visa office
  • Incomplete bank statements or an unclear purpose of visit are the most common causes of delay or refusal
  • Confirm the current submission address and accepted payment method with the Immigration Department before sending documents, as these can change
  • Keep copies of everything mailed, including the courier tracking number
  • Extensions beyond 42 days must be requested in person at the Immigration Department in Castries before the visa expires
