What you need

  • Passport valid for at least 3 months beyond the intended departure date from the Schengen area, issued within the last 10 years, with 2 blank pages
  • Completed and signed Schengen visa application form
  • 2 recent biometric photos, 35x45mm, white background
  • Proof of funds - bank statement for the last 3-6 months
  • Confirmed round-trip flight reservation and hotel booking or formal invitation letter
  • Travel medical insurance covering the whole Schengen area with minimum EUR 30,000 coverage
  • Biometrics (fingerprints and digital photo) must be captured in person at the VFS Global centre, valid for 5 years once enrolled

Visa types

  • Tourist (Type C) visa - single, double, or multiple entry, max stay 90 days within any 180-day period, fee EUR 90 (adults)
  • Business visa - requires invitation letter from a Polish company, same fee
  • Family visit visa - requires invitation and proof of relationship from the Polish host
  • Student/long-stay national (Type D) visa - for study exceeding 90 days, processed separately through Poland's national visa procedure with its own fee and timeline

  • Complete the online application form and gather all supporting documents listed above

  • Collect the passport with the visa decision from the centre or opt for courier return
