Kosovo Visa for Pakistan Citizens 2026

Visa Required

Pakistani citizens need a visa for Kosovo - apply through the nearest Kosovo diplomatic mission since there is no mission in Pakistan; fee around EUR 50-60, processing 10-15 working days.

Guide last updated October 20, 2026. Always verify with official sources before travel.

What you need

  • Passport valid for at least 3 months beyond the intended departure from Kosovo
  • Completed Kosovo visa application form
  • Two recent passport-size photographs, white background
  • Confirmed round-trip flight reservation
  • Proof of accommodation (hotel booking or invitation letter)
  • Travel medical insurance covering the stay in Kosovo
  • Bank statements for the last 3-6 months showing sufficient funds
  • Employment letter or business registration documents
  • Biometrics may be required depending on the processing mission

Visa types

  • Short-stay Visa (Type C) Tourist: single or multiple entry, valid up to 90 days within 180 days, fee approximately EUR 50-60
  • Short-stay Visa (Type C) Business: similar validity, requires an invitation letter from a Kosovo-based company
  • Airport Transit Visa: for travelers transiting through Kosovo's airport only

How to apply

  • Since Kosovo has no embassy in Pakistan, apply through the nearest Kosovo diplomatic mission with jurisdiction over Pakistan (commonly in the UAE or Turkey) or via Kosovo's Ministry of Foreign Affairs e-visa initiative where available
  • Complete the visa application form and gather all required documents
  • Submit the application in person at the designated mission or by courier/mail where accepted
  • Pay the visa fee as instructed by the mission
  • Standard processing takes 10-15 working days once the mission receives a complete application
  • The decision is communicated via the mission, with the visa affixed to the passport or issued as an approval letter depending on current policy

Fees & processing time

  • Visa fee: approximately EUR 50-60 (~PKR 15,500-18,500)
  • Courier/mailing costs when applying via a regional mission rather than in person
  • Total estimated cost: EUR 55-75
  • Standard processing: 10-15 working days
  • Express processing not generally available for Pakistani applicants

Tips for Pakistan travelers

  • Apply at least 4-6 weeks before travel given the lack of a direct Kosovo mission in Pakistan
  • Common rejection reasons: insufficient funds, unclear purpose of travel, weak documentation of ties to Pakistan
  • Confirm the current designated mission handling Pakistani applications directly with Kosovo's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as jurisdiction can change
  • Check current travel advisories for Kosovo and the wider Western Balkans region before finalizing plans
  • Extensions of stay are handled by Kosovo's Department of Citizenship, Asylum and Migration while in-country
