Tips for Pakistan travelers

  • Apply 3-4 weeks before travel, and not more than 6 months in advance
  • Common rejection reasons include insufficient funds, an unclear travel purpose, or incomplete documentation
  • Denmark's visa unit for Pakistan is sometimes handled jointly with other Nordic missions, so check which embassy processes your application before booking
  • Keep flight and hotel bookings flexible or refundable until the visa decision is made
  • To extend a stay inside Denmark, applications must be filed with the Danish Immigration Service before the visa expires, though extensions for tourism are rarely granted
