How to apply

  • Book an appointment at VFS Global Czech Republic visa application center in Islamabad or Karachi
  • Complete and print the Schengen application form

  • Schengen visa fee: EUR 90 (about USD 95-100) for adults, EUR 45 for children aged 6-12

Tips for Pakistan travelers

  • Apply 3-4 weeks before travel, and not more than 6 months ahead
  • Common rejection reasons include insufficient funds, missing travel insurance, or an inconsistent travel history
  • Keep flight and hotel bookings flexible or refundable until the visa decision is made
  • Provide clear, recent bank statements, as the Czech embassy pays close attention to financial solvency
  • To extend a stay inside the Czech Republic, applications must be filed with the Ministry of Interior before the visa expires, though extensions for tourism are rarely granted
