Tips for Pakistan travelers

  • Apply at least 2-3 weeks before departure to allow time for any requests for additional documents
  • Common rejection reasons: blurry or non-compliant photos, mismatched passport details, or unclear proof of funds
  • Double-check the yellow fever requirement if connecting through an African hub, as this is a frequent point of confusion
  • Keep a printed and a digital copy of the e-Visa approval letter when traveling
  • Extensions of stay can be requested at the Department of Immigration office in Gaborone before the current authorization expires
