Tips for Pakistan travelers

  • Apply at least 4-6 weeks before travel; VFS appointment slots can be limited
  • Common rejection reasons: insufficient funds, weak ties to Pakistan, inconsistent or incomplete documentation
  • Apply to Belgium specifically if it is the main destination or where most nights will be spent, per Schengen rules
  • Ensure invitation letters and financial documents are consistent and verifiable
  • Extensions are rarely granted; plan the trip to stay within the 90-day limit from the start
