Azerbaijan Visa for Pakistan Citizens 2026

Pakistani citizens can get Azerbaijan's ASAN e-Visa online at evisa.gov.az; fee USD 20 (standard) or USD 30 (express), processing within 3 business days standard or 3 hours express.

What you need

  • Passport valid for at least 6 months beyond the date of entry
  • Scanned passport bio-data page (clear color copy)
  • Digital passport-size photo
  • Confirmed return flight ticket
  • Proof of accommodation (hotel booking or invitation letter)
  • A valid email address and debit/credit card for online payment
  • No biometrics required for the e-Visa
  • Travel insurance not mandatory but recommended

Visa types

  • Single-entry tourist e-Visa: valid 90 days from issue, stay up to 30 days, fee USD 20
  • Single-entry business e-Visa: same validity, requires an invitation letter reference number, fee USD 20
  • Express e-Visa (either category): processed within 3 hours, fee USD 30

How to apply online

  • Go to the official ASAN Visa portal at evisa.gov.az
  • Create an account and select Pakistan as nationality and the correct visa purpose
  • Upload the passport scan and photo, fill in travel details
  • Pay the fee online by card (USD 20 standard or USD 30 express)
  • Receive the e-Visa by email as a PDF; print a copy to carry alongside the passport

  • No additional service fee since applications are made directly on the government portal
  • Standard processing time: up to 3 business days
  • Express processing time: approximately 3 hours

Tips for Pakistan travelers

  • Apply at least a week before travel to avoid express fees, though express is reliable if booked last-minute
  • Common rejection reasons: blurry passport scan, mismatched name spelling, incomplete travel details
  • Only use the official evisa.gov.az portal; third-party sites often overcharge for the same service
  • Carry a printed copy of the e-Visa plus the return ticket and hotel booking for immigration checks on arrival
  • Extensions beyond 30 days require applying at the State Migration Service office inside Azerbaijan
