Tips for China travelers

  • Start the process well in advance: apply at least 7-14 days before travel; allow extra time during peak travel seasons
  • Common rejection reasons for China applicants: incomplete documents, passport validity issues, insufficient funds, unclear travel purpose, mismatched flight/hotel details
  • VFS/BLS vs direct embassy: For Moldova e-Visa you apply online via the official portal; there is no separate VFS/BLS handling for the e-Visa; you do not submit papers by mail
  • Travel advisories/bilateral notes: Check the Moldova MFA travel advisories and ensure your passport validity and visa eligibility; keep updated with portal announcements and any COVID or entry requirement changes
  • Extension options inside Moldova: Extensions of an e-Visa are not issued from within Moldova; if you need a longer stay, you generally must apply for a new e-Visa before travel or depart Moldova and re-enter with a new e-Visa
