What you need

  • Work visa on arrival: Not routinely available on arrival; typically requires prior application and employer coordination through MoI or embassy channels.
  • Other categories (e.g., transit): Not applicable for VOA; verify with gateway2jordan.gov.jo or the Jordanian embassy.

Application process

  • Visa on arrival: Which ports – Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) in Amman; some land ports may not issue VOA.
  • How to apply: Upon arrival, go to the visa on arrival desk, present passport, submit 1 photo if requested, and complete any short form provided.

Tips for China travelers
