Chinese citizens can enter Azerbaijan visa-free for stays of up to 30 days under a reciprocal tourism arrangement, with no visa or e-visa application required for short visits.

What you need

  • Passport valid for at least 6 months beyond the stay
  • Proof of onward or return travel
  • Proof of accommodation
  • Proof of sufficient funds for the stay
  • Travel health insurance recommended though not mandatory

Visa types

  • No visa required for stays up to 30 days for tourism or short business visits
  • Travelers wishing to stay longer, work, or study should use Azerbaijan's ASAN Visa e-visa system or apply through an Azerbaijani mission for the appropriate permit

  • If converting to an e-visa for a longer or different purpose stay, the ASAN Visa fee and 3-business-day processing would apply instead
