  • Digital passport photo for the e-visa application
  • Proof of onward or return ticket
  • Hotel booking or a local sponsor/invitation letter
  • Proof of sufficient funds
  • Biometrics: not required for the e-visa itself; may be requested at the port of entry
  • Travel health insurance recommended, though not mandatory

  • Tourist e-visa: single entry, up to 15 days, fee approx USD 100
  • Business e-visa: single entry, up to 30 days, requires an invitation letter, fee approx USD 150

How to apply online

  • Apply through the Syrian e-visa portal or coordinate through the Syrian Embassy's online pre-approval process
  • Steps: submit a passport scan, photo, and travel details, pay the fee online, receive an approval letter by email
  • Processing time: typically 1-2 weeks
  • Present the printed e-visa approval plus passport at the port of entry, Damascus International Airport or an open land border

  • Tourist e-visa: approx USD 100, Business e-visa: approx USD 150
  • No separate VFS or BLS fee - handled directly online or via the embassy
  • Standard processing: 1-2 weeks
  • Express processing is generally not available given current conditions
