What you need

  • Completed Venezuelan visa application form
  • Two passport-size photos, 4x4 cm, white background
  • Proof of sufficient funds: bank statement showing adequate balance for the trip
  • Round-trip flight ticket and hotel reservation or invitation letter from a host in Venezuela
  • Yellow fever vaccination certificate if arriving from or having transited a country with yellow fever risk
  • Travel health insurance covering the full stay is recommended
  • No biometrics are required for the paper visa application itself

Visa types

  • Tourist visa (Visa de Transeunte - Turista, TU-3): single or multiple entry, valid up to 90 days, fee approx. USD 30
  • Business visa (Visa de Transeunte - Negocios, TN-5): multiple entry, requires an invitation from a Venezuelan company, fee approx. USD 50
  • Transit visa: for layovers, single entry, fee approx. USD 20
