Tips for Egypt travelers

  • Book the limited Fiji Airways flights to Funafuti well in advance - seats are scarce, and this is the real planning bottleneck, not the visa. Carry sufficient cash (AUD or USD), since card facilities are very limited on the islands. Confirm accommodation before arrival, as options are few. Extensions must be requested at the Immigration Office before the initial 30 days lapse.
