Tips for Egypt travelers

  • Arrange your tourist voucher or invitation letter well before starting the visa application, as it is a mandatory supporting document
  • Apply at least 3-4 weeks ahead of travel to allow for standard processing and any additional document requests
  • Common rejection reasons: invalid or unverifiable invitation/voucher, insufficient insurance coverage, or inconsistent personal details
  • Book through a licensed, reputable tour operator or agency to avoid delays caused by unverifiable vouchers
  • Keep both the invitation/voucher and insurance certificate on hand, as they may be checked again at the port of entry
