  • Bank statement showing sufficient funds

Visa types

  • Tourist visa: single or double entry, tied to a confirmed hotel booking or tour voucher, usually up to 30 days
  • Business visa: single/multiple entry, requires an official invitation from a Belarusian company
  • Private visa: for visiting family/friends, requires a notarized invitation from the host
  • Transit visa: for travelers passing through Belarus to a third country

How to apply

  • Obtain the required invitation/voucher first (tour operator, business host, or private host), since Belarus visas are not issued without one
  • Submit the application form, passport, photos and invitation to the Embassy of Belarus in Cairo or an authorized visa center
  • Pay the consular fee at submission
  • Collect the passport with the visa once processed

Fees & processing time

  • Visa fee: approximately USD 60-90 depending on visa type and number of entries
  • Standard processing time: around 10 working days
  • Expedited processing may be available at a higher fee where offered
  • Additional cost for the mandatory tour voucher or invitation letter if arranged through an agency

Tips for Egypt travelers

  • Arrange the invitation letter or hotel voucher well before applying, as this is the most common delay point
  • Apply at least 3 weeks ahead of travel to allow for embassy processing
  • Common rejection reasons include a mismatched or incomplete invitation, or insufficient funds
  • Keep both digital and printed copies of the invitation/voucher to present at the border as well as the embassy
  • Handle any mandatory local registration for longer stays promptly after arrival
